Donation Request Form

Region of Waterloo Museums (Waterloo Region Museum/Doon Heritage Village, Schneider Haus National Historic Site, and McDougall Cottage Historic Site) are committed to assisting the fundraising efforts of charitable community groups and organizations wherever possible.

In most instances support is in the form of a complimentary pass for regular museum admission valued at $25.

Please note we support registered charities. Private/personal fundraising initiatives such as stag and does do not meet our donation mandate.

All community support donation requests must be submitted via email. The online donation request will require the following information:

  • Organization Name/Community Group
  • Event Name
  • Event Date
  • Brief Event Description
  • Contact Name
  • Phone Number
  • Email Address
  • Mail Address
  • Organization Charitable Number (if available)

Donation Terms and Conditions:

  1. All donation requests must be received one month prior to the event date
  2. Region of Waterloo Museums reserve the right to decline requests should the organization or the fundraising event have the potential to harm the reputation of the museums or the Region of Waterloo
  3. Each charitable organization or community group will only be eligible to receive one donation per calendar year
  4. Cash donations will not be provided by Region of Waterloo Museums
