Schneider Haus is getting inked!

Schneider Haus is collecting the images and stories of your tattoos to celebrate the opening of its first outdoor exhibit on March 26th, Inking the Bond: Memorial Tattoos an exhibit in partnership with Professor Susan Cadell. Stop by and see the exhibit which will be illuminated until 10 p.m. daily.

This is your chance to answer your mothers’ question, "Why would you do that to yourself?"

We will be documenting local examples of living art, and the stories behind their creation, with a professional photo session and audio-recorded interview. The collected works will be displayed in an upcoming online exhibition and become part of the Region of Waterloo Museums permanent collection.

Members of the public who wish to ‘donate’ their ink and stories have the option to be identified or remain anonymous. Donors will have final approval of which photographs of their tattoos will be included in the online exhibition. They will also receive a copy of their interview and full resolution photographs of their session.
