Post-Part Installation

We are pleased to be a part of this exhibit which will be illuminated and installed in the passageway at Schneider Haus. Like our Inking the Bond exhibit, this installation is safely viewable from outdoors. Post-Part is an inter-arts exhibition inspired by the short story The Yellow Wallpaper by Charlotte Perkins Gilman. Combining illustration, collage, RGB light filter technology, audio composition and short film, it invites participants into an experience of a Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorder.

Installed in four downtown Kitchener locations, you will find windows covered in our RGB wallpaper, and QR code links which allow you access to curated webpages of audio compositions and the short film Cutting Paper by Jennifer Dallas and Melanie Gordon.

The exhibition marks the walking path for Waterloo Region's first Climbing Out of the Darkness Walk, an International advocacy initiative created by Postpartum Support International.
