Feathered Friends - Suggested Grades JK/SK

Students will visit with a Teacher / Interpreter to learn about the stages of development inside the egg, watch a few ‘egg’-experiments, do some birdie-dancing, and discover our ‘feathered friends’ from all around the world.  
 

Canadian Wildlife: Mammals - Suggested Grades 2 & 4

Museum staff will share items from our natural history collection to learn about local mammals, focusing on the similarities and differences between herbivores, carnivores, and omnivores.
 

Canadian Wildlife: Birds, Amphibians and Reptiles - Suggested Grades 2 & 4

Compare the similarities and differences between local reptiles and amphibians, and explore native bird species with a live virtual owl pellet dissection.
